No need to be alarmed, says Bank of England; so why am I suddenly alarmed?
The Bank of England has, I just read in The Times, in effect said in the wake of news that UBS will rescue Credit Suisse, that there is no need to be alarmed about the British banking system.
Why does that send a chill down my spine?
