BNP Paribas Asset Management appoints Philip Dawes Head of UK Institutional Sales
BNP Paribas Asset Management (BNPP AM) announces the appointment of Philip Dawes as head of institutional sales for the UK & Ireland. He joined on 20 November and is based in London, reporting to Charles Janssen, head of institutional sales for Europe.
In this newly created role, Dawes will be responsible for developing BNPP AM ‘s business across UK institutional clients including insurers and pension funds, as well as contributing to the development of BNPP AM’s UK product strategy.
BNPP AM says he has extensive experience of the institutional market, including direct sales, consultant relations, client servicing, marketing and product development. He joined from Allianz Global Investors (AGI), where he worked for 16 years in a variety of roles, including head of UK institutional, with responsibility for all aspects of sales, marketing and client servicing for UK-based direct benefit and direct contribution pension schemes and insurance clients.
Prior to this he was head of consultant relations for Europe and chaired AGI’s Global Consultant Relations Group.
