Investindustrial Advisors has chosen SunGard’s Investran private equity software solution to provide a centralised accounting and reporting solution across its funds and to enhance its investor reporting capabilities.
Investindustrial is a global organisation with offices in the UK, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Spain, China and the US.
Investindustrial, which has more than EUR 3 billion in assets under management, will use SunGard’s Investran to act as the foundation for a new operating platform across investment and investor operations. This will replace a largely manual operating environment and provide a link between the finance and investor relations teams, helping them to send accurate and transparent portfolio data to investors in a timelier manner.
Investindustrial’s chief financial officer Neil Smith said the firm was looking for a solution that would help improve the efficiency of its administration platform and streamline its operations. “Our goal was to employ one system for all of our investment and investor information,” he says. “In Investran, we saw a solution that has both a robust general ledger for accounting and the flexibility we needed for a variety of investor reports.”
